Dr. Sundeen also holds the Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Theology from Crown College (1982) and the Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (1987). Before joining the staff of MBTS, Dr. Sundeen began his ministry as senior pastor and church planter at Calvary Baptist Church, Marshall, MN. Subsequently, he has served at several levels of denominational leadership, within associations and statewide. He was Director of Missions in the Northwoods Baptist Association, MN, for 9 years, and Director of Evangelism and Stewardship at the Minnesota Wisconsin Baptist Convention for 8 years. His greatest joys in life come from serving his God and family, and from proclaiming the truth of Salvation thru Jesus Christ. He was married to Julie in 1980, and they have four children.

Pastor of Administration and Technology: Dan Mefford
Dan graduated from  Ouachita Baptist University with a BA in Religion and from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with an M.Div in Pastoral Ministry. Dan is married to Stephanie (our Senior Adult and Awana Leader) and is the proud father of a wonderful daughter, Dana.  He is also a full-time Chaplain at Mosaic Life Care Medical Center. One of Dan's favorite passage is Isaiah 40:28-31. He has been on staff since June of 2000.
Music Minister: Greg Smith

Awana/Senior Adult Minister: Stephanie Mefford

Stephanie is serving part-time on staff out of a commitment to Christ and Christian service she made while in High School. She acknowledges that all she has comes from the Lord and whatever gifts and talents He has given her should be used for His honor and glory. This is her goal, though she may falter and fall short of His glory, she knows His grace is sufficient for all her needs.
Stephanie was licensed to the Gospel Ministry by First Baptist Church “ Savannah, shortly after joining the staff in June 2000. She earned a Master of Divinity degree at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
Stephanie enjoys working with all of the individuals who make the Senior Adult and Awana ministries run so smoothly.  Partnering with so many volunteers is what makes ministry successful.
Stephanie and Dan met while studying in seminary and after sixteen years of marriage, their union was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Dana, who adds immensely to their ministry at this church.

Youth Pastor: Jeff Davis

Jeff grew up in the small town of Marshall, Missouri. He came to Christ at the young age of eight and felt the call to ministry around the age of 21. Jeff attended College of the Ozarks and graduated in May of 2010.  He attended the Kanakuk Institute, a ministry training program.  He is currently a student at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary working on his Masters in Theological Studies in the online program. Jeff has a heart to work with students because he wants to train the next generation to be disciple makers as a part of the great commission calling (Matt 28:18-20) that all Christians are commanded to do. He married his best friend Ashley in March of 2015, and they currently have one dog named Sigmund. Jeff was called to be the youth pastor here at FBC Savannah in May 2016. Some of Jeff's favorite verses are Phil 4:6-7 and Matt 6:33.
